bird whisperer

I asked this little tree swallow how he was doing and he stopped by to chat.
Why hello pretty little bird!

Oh, yes, it is such a beautiful spring day isn't it.

Bye bye now, you have a great day too!

And your welcome, just watch out for the window next time! :)

Planet of the Apes

Doesn't this remind you of Planet of the Apes?

Silly Reena.

I'll stop making fun of her. Here's a cute photo of the pups.

Oh, and this one. Who looks like a drunk with a black-eye and big lip? :)

mini moose

This photo just cracks me up! A gentleman that frequents the WMA took this photo and sent it to me. Is it just me, or how big does this mouse, er moose, look to you? It hardly looks bigger than a blade of grass!

Here's another moose photo while I'm sharing :)

Awesome photos!

I can't take credit for these, cause again they were taken by Steve, my technician. He has an awesome camera and gets great photos. They are taken at BSCWMA though.

Jodi, see what photo opportunities abound up here! I known, it's not for lack of wanting to come visit.

This may be Reena's cousin. I've heard all wolves have a black spot on the back of their tail. I'm guessing all coyotes too. Reena has one in the same spot! Proof!

A pileated woodpecker started building this nest hole just recently. Awesome!

Guess what? I get to go herding today! I'm headed out to the house of the mayor of Dover, ID (did you know such a place existed) who gives lessons every weekend. And it is only about a 1/2 hr drive for me! Vs 2 hours to the next closest herding source.

And here, for your enjoyment, a few wildlife photos!

Hooded mergansers, they are beautiful birds, hard to tell here though.

Nesting Canada geese, they are lying low trying to hide.

An immature bald eagle on the side of the road.

And a northern shoveler. This photo was taken by my one of me technician, and is awesome so had to share.
