I took a day to work with the fisheries folks to stock some local lakes. This is Robinson Lake. It is much bigger that this as it goes around the corner where most of the lake is and a compground. The lake is only 2 miles south of Canada!
Ya gotta open the valves on the tanker truck.
There they go, out with the flow.
Wheee!
Till they are all gone.
Whoa, like where are we?
They were all perddy Rainbow trout.
The tank was actually split into a front and back tank and we wanted to place half of the second tank at Robinson also, and the rest at Sinclair lake, so a few were netted out of the second tank and thrown in.
Here is the front tank full. There were 1,500 fish aboard!
Here is the back tank after we emptied it. The lid lets the water out. The blue and white filter things release oxygen into the water from the oxygen tanks on the back of the truck.
